Formatting first occurrence of element with EDD

Hello.

I've got a problem formatting first element of paricular kind.

I want bolded element to always use the same format.

Can this be done with EDD alone?

Sample stuctures:

<ELEMENT>

     <STEP1>

          <TABLE/>

          <TABLE/>

          <PARA/>

          <STEP2/>

     </STEP1>

</ELEMENT>

or

<ELEMENT>

     <STEP1>

          <PARA/>

          <PARA/>

          <STEP2/>

     </STEP1>

</ELEMENT>

or

<ELEMENT>

     <STEP1>

          <OTHER_ELEMENT/>

          <PARA/>

          <TABLE/>

          <PARA/>

          <STEP2/>

     </STEP1>

</ELEMENT>

Please help.
