Hi,
I'm using the Find/Change utility to search my structured documents for cross-reference (xref) elements.
To search for an element:
1. Click Edit > Find/Change.
2. Select Element... from the Find drop-down list.
3. Type the name of the Element you're searching for in the Element field.
4. Select an attribute name and value, if desired.
5. Click the Set button.
I can search for any one of several elements I've tested, such as p, ph, or table. But when I specify the xref element in the Element field, FrameMaker cannot find any such element. The document actually contains many xref elements.
Thinking that maybe FrameMaker is converting xref elements to a different element, I've also searched for fm-xref, FmXrefElem, and DitaXrefElem. FrameMaker cannot find any instance of these elements, either.
How could I search for cross-reference (xref) elements in my structured documents?
Thanks,
Mark
