Table column widths in FrameMaker 11 + DITA

Hi All,

As others have previously posted, DITA tables in Frame 11 will convert to proportional table column sizing whether you want that or not. For example, you change your r/w rules to NOT use proportional column widths, store the COLSPECS so Frame maintains the column widths in the XML markup, and everything works until you open the file in WYSIWYG view. (If you open in XML View it's fine.) As soon as you open WYSIWYG View, Frame takes the formerly-correct table column widths and changes them to proportional scaling, sized to the text column width (without side heads). I'm using a template with side heads.

Is there any workaround? Is there any way to be able to edit the C code for ditafm_app or ditafm? I could write my own fdk plug-in, but without knowing what the "official" ones do, it's hard to replace them.

Thanks
