If I change text in a template does it change in every topic which base upon the template?

Hello,

I work with FrameMaker 8 and DITA.

All task topics of one chapter include the same table with the same text in one column. I want to create a template which includes the table and the text. If I change the text in the template it should change in every topic which base upon the template.

Can I create such a template or should I work with a normal task topic and conref?
How can I create such a template? If this is a very broad topic can you give me a hint?
