I have an inhereted edd that I'm trying to make a small change to. My main problem is that no matter what changes I make to the edd file they are not reflected when I open the XML.
Note, I have had limited training in Framemaker, but I can see this change would be easy to make (since there was already code for that, I'm just altering the format rule a little). I've tried major changes to bits that should show and it still has no effect. I have a feeling I'm missing an obvious step someone would learn in Structured Doc 101 (like "now compile the edd"), but, having never taken such a course, I'm at a loss.
