When creating a DITA topic, FM11 always inserts a concept element

Hi all,

perhaps someone can point me to where I am misunderstanding something here.

Because I have no write access on C:\Program Files, I have copied the DITA_1.2 folder into my profile, i.e. C:\Users\NAME\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\FrameMaker\11\DITA_1.2

I then inserted the structapps.fm file into the new "11" folder. In this file, I changed the DITA_1.2_path variable to point to the new location. In the new template folder, I have then reformatted the templates for tasks, concepts and references with my new layout.

Everything works fine so far, when I create a DITA topic then the formatting of my changed template files is applied. But The element inserted at root level is always a concept, regardless of which topic type I select. To verify, I have inserted a task element with some content in my task.template.fm file, and also changed e.g. the text color to red. When creating a task, FM then applies the changed (red) color, indicating that the correct file is used; however, the content is ignored and again a concept element inserted.

Any ideas? This is FM11, Win7 64bit

Robert
